Terms of service — summary
These terms govern the provision of event floristry and related services by Smartofferclub. A service agreement is formed when a quote is accepted in writing and any required deposit is received. Detailed terms are provided with each quote.
- Deposits are required to secure dates; they are generally non-refundable but may be credited toward rescheduled services at our discretion.
- Final guest counts and design approvals are required *** later than 14 days before the event unless otherwise agreed.
- Outstanding balances are due per the invoice terms; failure to pay may result in cancellation.
Privacy & data protection
We process personal information necessary to provide event floristry services. Smartofferclub complies with applicable Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA where applicable) and provincial privacy rules.
Data retention: client records and transactional data are kept for bookkeeping and warranty purposes for up to 7 years unless otherwise requested.

Cancellation, refunds & consumer rights
Cancellation policies respect provincial consumer protection rules. For events and bespoke floral work:
- Cancellation more than 60 days before the event: deposit may be refundable minus administrative fees—subject to written agreement.
- Cancellation within 60 days: deposit is typically non-refundable due to sourcing and labour commitments.
- If goods/services are not as described, clients may be entitled to remedies under provincial consumer protection legislation.

Dispute resolution & governing law
These legal notices are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada where applicable. Parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation before pursuing litigation. Where disputes cannot be resolved, jurisdiction will be the courts of British Columbia unless otherwise required by law.
